Meet Monique Vincent
Monique Vincent
(they/them)
Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate
Monique utilizes contemplative psychotherapy, which integrates mindfulness and compassion with traditional therapeutic practices. This approach helps you stay present with your emotions, rather than running from them. Together, you and your therapist will explore not just “how” you are being challenged, but also the “why,” allowing for more profound insight and growth.
Monique’s approach is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed, grounded in the belief that true healing arises from a genuine, trusting connection between two people. Monique has experience working as a Crisis Clinician at a 24/7 walk-in crisis center, as well as working with clients (or their partners) recovering from sex addiction or substance abuse.
Monique aims to honor each client’s unique experiences while fostering resilience, personal growth, and deeper connections with themselves and others. Whether you’re dealing with compulsive behaviors, relationship concerns, or navigating major life changes, your work with Monique will be rooted in your own wisdom and integrity.
Fun Facts: Born & raised in Massachusetts, Monique enjoys time in nature, especially snowboarding, hiking, leaf peeping, and anything “maple”. They enjoy traveling to new places and, with their recent scuba certification, are looking forward to exploring new underwater landscapes.
