Kelsey Kellner
(they/them)
Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate
Kelsey brings a unique blend of experience from education, residential treatment, and working with parents and children across a variety of settings. With a deep belief that everyone has a story to tell, they are particularly drawn to working with clients who identify as neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, or those coming from a trauma background. Kelsey creates a welcoming and open space for clients of all ages to explore their experiences.
In their therapy practice, Kelsey utilizes experiential interventions such as sand tray, art, and play to empower clients and help them express their world. They believe that we all have the values and strengths within us to navigate challenges; sometimes, the journey is about identifying those strengths and finding support from someone who will accept us unconditionally. Kelsey takes a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy, trusting that their clients are the experts of their own lives and that the tools for change are already within them.
Kelsey enjoys working with a diverse range of clients and is passionate about creating a collaborative environment where healing can occur. They value the opportunity to learn from their clients and to support them in their unique healing and growth.
