C.J. Malament
(they/them)
Clinical Director and Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Healing isn’t just about processing the past—it’s about expanding into now - the possibility for a fiercely connected and meaningful life. C.J. offers a relational, somatic approach to healing that recognizes how lived experiences are shaped by systemic oppression, internalized narratives, and survival adaptations. Rooted in liberatory, decolonizing, and anti-carceral frameworks, their work centers client autonomy, consent, and the wisdom of the body in the healing process.
They support neurodivergent clients and those navigating complex trauma, dissociation, chronic shame, perfectionism, disorders of overcontrol, and the impact of internalized abuse and neglect. Using a range of modalities, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and somatic practices, C.J. helps clients explore both past wounds and present-moment embodiment, moving toward authentic self-expression.
Sessions may incorporate art, play, writing, drama, and movement to foster integration and reconnect with creativity, intuition, and pleasure. Whether clients are working to build internal collaboration, release deep-seated patterns, or cultivate greater ease, C.J. offers a space where all parts are welcome.
