Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

Do you worry that the things you say aren't being communicated in the way you wish they were? Does it often make you feel misunderstood? Let's discover ways of communicating that work best for you.

I'm Chase, and I typically see clients from age 15 to 55. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist.

We tend to repeat the same patterns we experienced throughout our younger years without even recognizing them. These values, beliefs, and ways of communicating are all embedded within the person we are today.  Using a Person-Centered Approach, alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy interventions, we can explore the ways patterns from your childhood have impacted decisions made throughout your adulthood. During our time together, we will work to tell your story in a way that makes sense and promotes self-worth. We will also work on building new skills that will help you become the person that you want to be.

All forms of media, such as books, television, film, etc., make an impact on our lives. We desire those depictions of love, friendship, and family, even if they are different from the reality we are living in. People gravitate to the things that make us happy, but we equally love watching the things that tug on our heartstrings. If you’re not sure where to begin, we can always start our conversation there.

Education: Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling, The University of Northern Colorado, University of Denver, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate
