Meet Alexandra Perez

Alexandra Perez

(she/her)

Therapist, Social Work Candidate

Alexandra (she/her/hers) aims to create a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environment for all clients to feel able to explore and express themselves. This includes providing validation to the experiences of individuals and recognizing their strengths. She believes that her role as a clinician isn’t to tell clients what decisions to make in their lives but rather empower clients to make those decisions for themselves with more clarity.

She utilizes various modalities in session including client-centered and psychodynamic, specifically attachment theory. In addition, she applies an intersectional lens when working with clients to help understand the whole individual with regards to their identities, including but not limited to race, gender, sexuality, ability, and body size. Alexandra has a passion for working with women, people of color, young adults, and older adults who would like support navigating anxiety, coping skills, relationship issues, perfectionism, and life transitions.

Currently, she is only taking in-person sessions at this time.
